Music Educator, Choral Director, Arranger, and
Expressive Ensemble Singing Coach
arrangements
Due to the difficulty in finding suitable material for Brazilian youth choirs, I have developed a unique way to arrange vocal music for my groups, which has proven to be very helpful for many choirs in Brazil and abroad. I prioritize the beauty of Brazilian music — especially MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) — while also considering any style, rhythm, or even nationality that might attract teenagers or new singers of all ages to join a choir.
From Marcos Leite, Roberto Gnattali, and Vicente Ribeiro I have learned to seek sensitivity through simplicity, resulting in easy (yet effective) arrangements that allow people to enjoy singing together from the very first moment. The arrangements below are offered as free PDFs, hoping to support choir directors, especially those leading amateur choirs. Please note that the copyright for each piece belongs to its corresponding publishers, who hold the rights to recordings, public performances, etc.
Whenever you use one of my arrangements, I kindly ask you to send me a video or audio of your choir singing it — it would be a great pleasure to know that I am contributing to collective singing.
The list is organized alphabetically, with a summary of each arrangement characteristics to facilitate your search. It will be updated soon with my most recent arrangements.
Note:
Many of the arrangements are adaptable. For example, some three-part arrangements for equal voices can be used for mixed voices, with one of the voices transposed to octave below.
And, please, always give the proper credit. That is, if you need to make modifications to my original arrangement, don’t forget to acknowledge who has made this adaptation.
Welcome to my catalog!
